[Remote] Information Security Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Motion Recruitment is hiring an Information Security Project Manager to support a high-visibility enterprise Information Security initiative spanning approximately 20 projects across 12 workstreams. The role will coordinate project tracking, schedules, reporting, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder updates while supporting projects through implementation, production readiness, and transition to ongoing operations.
Responsibilities
- Support project coordination and visibility across approximately 20 Information Security projects and 12 workstreams
- Maintain visibility into project scope, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items
- Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules and tracking tools
- Establish and maintain consistent project status reporting cadences across multiple workstreams
- Coordinate status updates with technical teams, stakeholders, and project sponsors
- Track day-to-day project activities and follow up on outstanding items to maintain momentum
- Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and activities requiring escalation to program leadership
- Consolidate project-level information into clear and accurate status reports for the Program Manager and project stakeholders
- Coordinate meetings, maintain project logs, document decisions and action items, and prepare status summaries for operational and leadership review
- Help establish structure, reporting practices, and visibility across projects currently in various stages of planning and execution
- Track project milestones and activities through implementation, production readiness, post-production, and transition to operational support
- Coordinate across technical teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies
- Support CAPEX tracking and other project-related activities as needed
- Support visibility into operational model development, productionization, and transition to ongoing operations
- Maintain project documentation and tracking throughout the project lifecycle
- Work across multiple concurrent Information Security projects while maintaining strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Maintain awareness of Information Security terminology and concepts to effectively support InfoSec-related projects and workstreams
Skills
- Experience working as a Project Manager or similar project coordination role within a complex enterprise environment
- Experience coordinating multiple projects, workstreams, or initiatives simultaneously
- Strong project planning, tracking, reporting, and organizational skills
- Experience working closely with technical teams and stakeholders
- Ability to establish and maintain consistent project reporting cadences
- Strong communication skills with the ability to gather information from technical stakeholders and translate it into clear project status updates
- Experience tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, action items, and deliverables
- Strong Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities
- Strong ability to work closely with project-level details while maintaining awareness of broader Information Security objectives
- Experience with Smartsheet
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Previous experience supporting Information Security / Cybersecurity initiatives
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Information Security or cybersecurity project management experience
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation programs
- Experience coordinating across multiple technical workstreams
- Experience supporting security modernization initiatives
- Familiarity with enterprise technology, infrastructure modernization, or security environments
- Experience using Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, and/or Excel for project tracking and reporting
- Experience supporting projects through implementation, production readiness, and transition to operational support
