[Remote] Intern: Operations Team
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The American Civil Liberties Union of Texas is a leading civil rights organization working to protect and advance civil rights and civil liberties across Texas. The Operations Intern will support the human resources function by coordinating the intern lifecycle, assisting with recruiting and training administration, monitoring program progress, and contributing to HR reporting, process improvements, and special projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for interns throughout the internship lifecycle
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and offboarding activities for interns
- Partner with hiring managers and department mentors to ensure interns have meaningful assignments, training, and regular check-ins
- Monitor intern progress, gather feedback from interns and supervisors, and support program improvements
- Assist with recruiting for future internship cohorts, coordinating campus outreach, career fairs, and internship events as needed
- Assist with tracking and monitoring the training via Absorb Learning Management System (LMS), including generating training reports and tracking tools
- Research HR best practices, assist with HR metrics and reporting, document standard operating procedures (SOPs), identify opportunities for automation and process improvements, and support special projects related to HR
