[Remote] IT Engineer - Network Administrator

Responsibilities
- Manage Palo Alto firewall infrastructure, including upgrades, patches, and configurations
- Convert layer 4 firewall rules to layer 7 using User-ID and App-ID
- Create custom App-IDs to enhance security policies
- Maintain network security, performance, and reliability
- Utilize expertise in networking protocols and devices such as firewalls, routers, and VPNs
- Work with network monitoring tools to ensure infrastructure health
Skills
- 5+ years in managing Palo Alto firewalls
- Proficiency in Palo Alto firewalls, including User-ID and App-ID
- Knowledge of networking protocols, routers, and VPNs
- Experience with network monitoring tools
- Experience managing Checkpoint firewalls in an IaaS environment
- Experience deploying Palo Alto firewalls in an IaaS environment
- Ability to leverage Python scripts to automate tasks
