[Remote] IT Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Milbank LLP is a law firm seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to partner with the CIO and IT leadership team on enterprise technology initiatives. The role leads complex programs across internal teams, vendors, and consulting partners, managing delivery, governance, executive communications, stakeholder engagement, and risks.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of enterprise IT initiatives, including technology implementations, transformation efforts, and strategic programs
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables
- Drive coordination across multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- Establish and maintain program governance, reporting, and execution discipline
- Partner with the CIO and IT leadership on key initiatives and priorities
- Lead cross-functional stakeholder engagement across IT and business teams
- Develop and deliver executive-level reporting, presentations, and updates
- Translate complex topics into clear, concise business communications
- Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and delivery partners
- Ensure vendor deliverables align with program objectives, timelines, and quality expectations
- Coordinate across internal and external teams to drive accountability and execution
- Drive structured execution across initiatives, including:
- Planning and requirements activities
- Working sessions and stakeholder workshops
- Issue and risk management
- Delivery and/or assessment activities (as applicable)
- Ensure alignment across related initiatives, dependencies, and priorities
Skills
- 10+ years of experience in IT Project / Program Management
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale technology initiatives
- Strong experience managing complex, multi-vendor environments
- Experience supporting senior executive stakeholders
- Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in law firm or professional services environments
- Exposure to a mix of: Technology delivery (applications, platforms, integrations)
- IT operating model or process improvement initiatives
- Data, analytics, or AI-related programs
