[Remote] IT Server Administrator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. JAARS, Inc. is an international faith-based organization seeking an IT Server Administrator to support its Information & Digital Technologies team. The role manages servers in data centers worldwide through installation, patching, maintenance, troubleshooting, and decommissioning, while collaborating with technical teams to ensure reliable operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software
- Monitor server performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other server-related services
- Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues and outages
- Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to support business operations
- Document server configurations, procedures, and policies
