[Remote] Java Developer with strong financial domain
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Info Way Solutions is seeking an experienced Java Developer to build and maintain scalable enterprise applications for banking, financial services, payments, and transaction-processing systems. The role focuses on Java and Spring Boot development, REST APIs, microservices, financial system integrations, database development, application modernization, testing, security, deployment, and technical collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices for financial applications
- Work closely with business analysts, architects, QA, and product teams to understand financial requirements
- Develop applications supporting banking, payments, transactions, accounts, loans, cards, or financial reporting
- Implement secure and high-performance transaction-processing solutions
- Integrate applications with internal and third-party financial systems using APIs and messaging platforms
- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integrations
- Participate in application modernization and migration from legacy systems to modern Java/microservices architectures
- Implement unit, integration, and automated testing
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in root-cause analysis
- Follow secure coding, code review, CI/CD, and Agile development practices
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for application deployment and monitoring
- Prepare technical documentation and contribute to architecture and design discussions
Skills
- * 8+ years of professional Java development experience
- * Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17+
- * Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security
- * Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices
- * Excellent knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
- * Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies
- * Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD
- * Good understanding of design patterns, OOP, data structures, and software development principles
- * Experience with JUnit/Mockito or similar testing frameworks
- * Strong understanding of application security and secure API development
