[Remote] Junior Data Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SQA Group is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented early-career professional to join its team as a Junior Data / QA Analyst. The role focuses on data validation, reporting, analytics, and AI, including comparing reports, identifying discrepancies, investigating root causes, supporting data quality initiatives, and collaborating with senior team members.
Responsibilities
- Run and compare reports across multiple systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Identify discrepancies in data and flag or reject incorrect results
- Investigate differences and proactively work toward identifying root causes
- Support ongoing data quality and reporting initiatives
- Collaborate with senior team members and learn best practices in data analysis and QA
Skills
- • Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- • Analytical thinker who is curious and eager to learn
- • Ability to spot inconsistencies and problem-solve independently
- • Strong communication and organizational skills
- • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- • Fully remote (preference for candidates located in or near Rhode Island)
- • Exposure to tools such as Excel, Power BI, Cognos, or similar reporting/analytics platforms
- • Internship or academic project experience working with data
