[Remote] Junior Data Enginer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crispy is hiring a Junior Data Engineer to help build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure. The role supports reliable data delivery, data modeling and storage, data quality monitoring, source integration, and collaboration with analytics and business teams in a remote-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes
- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to ensure reliable data delivery
- Assist in designing and implementing data models, warehouses, and storage solutions
- Monitor data quality, identify issues, and troubleshoot data-related problems
- Support integration of new data sources and tools
- Document data pipelines, standards, and best practices
Skills
- Junior Level (0–3+ years experience)
- Experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related roles (internships included)
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
- Basic understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment
- Fluent in English
- Based in the United States with legal authorization to work full-time
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) or data tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) is a plus
