[Remote] Lead DevOps / Python / Azure AI Engineer- Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TestingXperts is seeking a senior hands-on engineer to build and support production-grade backend services, APIs, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-enabled solutions. The role combines DevOps and cloud engineering, Python development, Azure, and AI expertise while contributing to architecture, production troubleshooting, mentoring, and technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI
- Design and maintain scalable REST APIs, microservices, integrations, and data-access components
- Deploy and support applications using Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Azure SQL/PostgreSQL, Storage, Key Vault, Service Bus, and Application Insights
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or equivalent IaC technologies
- Develop and integrate AI/GenAI solutions , LLM APIs, Azure OpenAI, or AI-assisted engineering workflows
- Troubleshoot application, cloud, API, database, deployment, and production issues
- Implement automated testing, monitoring, logging, security controls, and production-readiness practices
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions while remaining highly hands-on
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across DevOps, Python, Azure, and backend engineering
Skills
- • Strong hands-on Python development
- • Strong FastAPI experience; Flask/Django is a plus
- • Strong Azure Cloud experience
- • Strong DevOps / CI/CD experience
- • Experience with REST APIs and microservices
- • Experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Azure SQL/PostgreSQL, Key Vault, Storage, and monitoring
- • Experience with Git, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools
- • Hands-on AI/GenAI/LLM experience, preferably Azure OpenAI or similar platforms
- • Strong debugging, production support, automation, and problem-solving skills
- • A senior DevOps/Platform/Cloud engineer who is also a strong Python developer and has hands-on Azure and AI experience
- The person should be comfortable coding, building APIs, automating deployments, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to technical architecture—not just managing teams or infrastructure
