[Remote] Lead Full Stack Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Panther Group is seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Lead Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. The role combines technical leadership, software architecture, hands-on coding, cloud and DevOps implementation, test automation, and mentoring to deliver high-quality cloud-native solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems
- Define technical architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices
- Drive solution design reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams
- Participate in hands-on development of critical application components
- Design and develop modern web applications using React.js
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices using C#/.NET and Java/Spring Boot
- Develop scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native applications
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC
- Design and deploy solutions on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Drive containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes
- Ensure system reliability, observability, monitoring, and operational excellence
- Champion shift-left testing practices and quality engineering principles
- Establish automated testing frameworks for UI, API, integration, regression, and performance testing
- Work closely with QA teams to improve test coverage and release quality
- Implement automated quality gates in CI/CD pipelines
- Drive defect reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments and lead technical delivery activities
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, code reviews, and architectural discussions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years in a Lead Engineer, Technical Lead, or Solution Architect role
