[Remote] Linux & Network Security Engineer (Infrastructure Focus)

The role involves managing Linux-based infrastructure, designing secure network architectures, and developing RESTful APIs for infrastructure services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux-based infrastructure systems
• Design and implement secure network architectures
• Develop and support RESTful APIs for infrastructure services
• Work on system design and scalability improvements
• Handle security hardening, monitoring, and vulnerability management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud and infrastructure solutions
• Troubleshoot complex system, network, and performance issues

Skills

• 6+ years of programming experience with languages like Go, Python, or Java
• Strong expertise in Linux system administration
• Solid knowledge of network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, TCP/IP)
• Hands-on experience with REST API development
• Strong understanding of system design and distributed systems
• 5+ years of experience with IaaS & PaaS platforms
• 5+ years of experience with Service Mesh architectures
• 5+ years of experience with Block/Object storage systems
• 5+ years of experience with Linux-based environments
• 3+ years of experience with Streaming data platforms (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis)
• 3+ years of experience with Databases: SQL, NoSQL, and Graph DBs
