[Remote] Machine Learning Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ArrowFin Global builds real-time risk intelligence systems for the futures trading industry. The Machine Learning Engineer will own the machine learning and modeling work for behavioral scoring and trader profiling, including designing models and labeling strategies, evaluating and validating models, deploying them as production Python services, and presenting results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and build behavioral models using real trading data spanning hundreds of millions of fills
• Design labeling strategies and build high quality labeled datasets with clear, reproducible methodology
• Define rigorous evaluation frameworks and guard against leakage, sampling bias, and overfitting
• Take models from research notebooks into production Python services, typed contracts, tests, fixtures
• Validate models under noisy, live trading conditions and ensure production matches research results
• Present your work regularly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives

Skills

• ✅ 4+ years building and shipping ML/data products in industry, not academia only, with strong production Python
• ✅ Comfortable working independently from ambiguous problem statements, a question and a database, not a spec
• ✅ Strong SQL and experience with large, messy real world datasets, PostgreSQL/Timescale a plus
• ✅ Able to explain models in plain English to non-ML audiences; interviews include presenting a past project
• ✅ Effective with AI coding tools; you must be able to explain every line you ship
• ✅ Conversational English and comfort engaging directly with stakeholders and executives
• ✅ Minimum 4 hours of overlap with US Central time working hours
• ➕ Trading or futures domain knowledge, genuine curiosity about markets counts
• ➕ LLM/RAG experience
