[Remote] Machine Learning Scientist

The Machine Learning Scientist will develop, evaluate, and deploy advanced machine learning models for biological applications, collaborate with scientific and engineering teams, and communicate technical findings to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise deep learning models for biological and biomedical applications
• Contribute to the development of large-scale foundation models and representation learning approaches
• Apply machine learning techniques to complex multimodal biological datasets
• Train, evaluate, and deploy models using modern ML infrastructure and best practices
• Collaborate with computational biologists, researchers, and software engineers to translate scientific problems into machine learning solutions
• Stay current with emerging research in machine learning, generative AI, and computational biology
• Present findings and technical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
