[Remote] Manager – Data Engineering
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tredence Inc. is a data and analytics company. The Manager – Data Engineering will build relationships with customers and stakeholders, manage project implementation, optimize data reconciliation processes, maintain workflow documentation, and support the training and effectiveness of the Data Science team.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with internal and external customers, providing superior customer service while managing expectations
- Collaborate with other organizational leaders to identify emerging needs and rally around solutions
- Collaborate with Product owners to manage implementation of various projects
- Insure effective and efficient reconciliation processes for incoming and outgoing data, optimizing the outcomes of unreconciled items
- Develop and maintain working relationships with stakeholders
- Develops, documents, maintains, and updates workflow streams
- Meet deadlines and turnaround times set by managers and department director
- Ensure Data Science team is trained on P&Ps and cross-trained within the team, facilitating stability of the department’s effectiveness
- Ability to work with multiple internal and external partners at various levels of the organization
- Strong aptitude for quickly troubleshooting and identifying the cause of questionable results within extracts and reports
Skills
- Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, or a related field, PLUS one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related position
- Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Data engineering, Data Analysis, Python, and SQL
- Required experience and knowledge may be gained prior to or concurrently with Master's degree
- Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S., approximately 30%, as required
- May telecommute from any location within the U.S
