[Remote] Manager, IT Engineering

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bitwarden is an identity security company providing password management, secrets management, and passwordless and passkey solutions. The IT Manager will oversee the evaluation, deployment, and operation of technologies supporting company teams, including employee onboarding, asset management, procurement, cloud infrastructure, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the digital employee onboarding experience from equipment orders and management to account setup and provisioning
• Manage software and hardware vendors, research, sourcing, and procurement
• Maintain the Bitwarden inventory of laptops and licensed software distributed globally
• Serve as the go-to person for access, configuration, and support of tools used across the company including SaaS and deployed systems
• Assist with the management and transformation of our cloud infrastructure and networks
• Manage VPNs and other restricted access systems
• Assist with business and technology experiments involving new technologies, tools, processes and techniques
• Help manage and improve upon various Bitwarden compliance frameworks and certifications such as SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR
• Contribute to the presence of Bitwarden in the SecOps domain and community at large through forums, conferences, articles, and customer support

Skills

• This is an all-remote team, and we are looking for someone based in the U.S

• Experience managing equipment and software across a distributed, remote, and decentralized global workforce
• Experience in implementing and refining IT and security compliance frameworks
• Ability to maintain discretion, handle sensitive information and maintain security best-practices

• Experience in the rollout and support of MDM tools across macOS, iOS, Windows and Android
• Azure and cloud infrastructure best practices and operations, monitoring and maintenance
