[Remote] Manager Network Engineering
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NR Consulting is a consulting company seeking a Network Engineering Manager. The role provides hands-on technical leadership for enterprise network design, operations, security, optimization, hybrid cloud networking, and network engineering team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of network engineers
- Design and manage LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, VPNs, wireless, and UCaaS/CCaaS
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Manage network security, monitoring, performance, and hardware lifecycle upgrades
- Support hybrid cloud networking across Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Lead network projects, migrations, expansions, and cloud integrations
- Manage vendors and maintain network documentation
Skills
- 10+ years of network engineering experience with 3–5+ years in leadership
- Strong Cisco/Fortinet/Aruba/Meraki/Arista experience
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, QoS, VLANs, STP, VPNs, and Zero Trust
- Azure cloud networking and network automation/monitoring experience
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
