[Remote] Master Data Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Akkodis is seeking an Advanced Data Analyst to support public health data governance and management initiatives. The role focuses on curating, documenting, organizing, and maintaining data assets and metadata in Collibra, while supporting governance processes, standards, guidelines, and data stewardship practices.
Responsibilities
- Data Catalog and Metadata Management
- Work directly with Business and Data Stewards to gather, document, validate, and maintain business and technical metadata
- Support the maintenance of the Public Health data catalog, business glossary, data definitions, and related governance documentation
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement in metadata and data documentation
- Data Stewardship
- Data Governance Support
- Support the Data Governance Lead in developing, documenting, reviewing, and maintaining data governance standards, procedures, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of Public Health data governance processes and practices
- Collaborate with Public Health programs, data engineering, analytics, IT, privacy, security, and other stakeholders to incorporate governance practices into Public Health data initiatives
Skills
- • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Data Management, Business, Analytics, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
- • Knowledge of data governance, data stewardship, metadata management, data catalogs, business glossaries, and data quality practices
- • Experience developing and maintaining process documentation, standards, procedures, guidelines, or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- • Hands-on experience with Collibra strongly preferred, including training business users, curation and maintenance of data assets, metadata, business glossaries, and related governance content. Experience with a similar data governance or data catalog tool may be considered in lieu of Collibra experience
- • Exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, ArcGIS, or similar data and analytics platforms is preferred
