[Remote] Mechanical Engineer Data Centers
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Metric DCX is seeking a Data Center Mechanical Engineer to support the growth of its expanding Data Center practice. The role serves as a technical expert on mission-critical and data center mechanical systems, advising teams and clients on design strategies while supporting pursuits, proposals, and project development.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical expert for mission critical and data center mechanical systems
- Advise project teams and clients on system selection, cooling strategies, redundancy requirements, and industry trends
- Support client engagement efforts and help identify new project opportunities
- Participate in project pursuits, proposals, and presentations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, and equipment vendors
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience designing mechanical systems for data centers/mission critical facilities
