[Remote] MH&P Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SanMar is seeking an MH&P Analyst to support distribution-facing systems and processes. The role partners with Distribution, IT, vendors, and technical teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot systems, execute projects and improvements, provide advanced support, and improve distribution center efficiency and capacity.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders and users to gather and refine business requirements to help plan and execute solutions that meet business needs and ensure best operational practice
• Research, analyze, and troubleshoot SanMar distribution systems; understand the operation and dependencies of the solutions and processes, and how they are used by business customers
• Assist Project/Program Managers with creation of detailed project plans and frameworks; primary responsibility for execution of critical project milestones and related status reporting
• Create quality documentation on systems, tools, and processes for internal team and IT Service Desk use
• Act as vendor point-of-contact for distribution related solutions and related peripherals
• Provide distribution system subject matter expertise to business areas and end users
• Provide Tier III functional support and/or training to Distribution staff and first/second line IT support teams; escalate to technical resources as appropriate
• Work closely with technical teams to identify, design and deliver changes to system environments; ensure technical projects are in lock-step with functional requirements
• Cross-functionally involved in build and User Acceptance testing activities
• Create and implement training for Distribution Centers to ensure operational excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with all policies and standards

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of experience using technology-based distribution systems including high output printers and label media; databases and reporting tools, and voice, RF and scanning WMS equipment
• Excellent MS Excel skills; ability to write and execute basic to intermediate SQL queries is a bonus
• Detailed understanding of holistic functional process flows in a distribution center
• Solid subject matter expertise on the functional use of technology based distribution systems
• Skilled at creating functional/process flow and training documentation
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills; ability to learn quickly and resolve issues self-sufficiently
• Excellent interpersonal skills, great communicator - written and verbal
• Appropriate sense of urgency and prioritization, passion for problem solving
• Flexible schedule, able to provide off-hours support either remotely, or onsite, as needed
• Ability to travel frequently up to 50% or more
• The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and participating in virtual and in-person meetings. Frequent use of hands for keyboarding and standard office equipment is required. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching may be needed to attend meetings or collaborate in an office setting. The role requires the ability to perform close visual work on a computer for extended periods. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10–15 pounds. • Experience with SanMar systems such as Warehouse Management (HighJump/Korber) and Parcel Management (Proship) is preferred
