[Remote] MIddle DevOps Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Emerging Travel Group is seeking two Middle DevOps Engineers to join an engineering team supporting a large-scale international IT product. The roles focus on building resilient, scalable infrastructure, automating operations, managing databases, and supporting CI/CD and Kubernetes environments.
Responsibilities
- Building resilient, fault-tolerant infrastructures
- Scaling infrastructure to handle high loads
- Setting up build and code delivery processes
- Automating and optimizing routine tasks
- Implementing new tools and technologies
- Supporting and developing database clusters
- Managing and troubleshooting production Kubernetes clusters, writing Helm charts
- Participating in on-call duties
Skills
- 3+ years of commercial experience in DevOps
- Experience managing Linux servers and infrastructure using IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform, or equivalents)
- GitLab CI: configuring CI/CD pipelines for seamless delivery of Docker containers with *Python* or Go code
- Setting up and maintaining database clusters (such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Aerospike, Consul)
- Working with monitoring and logging systems (e.g., Zabbix, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, ELK, Sentry)
- Working with containerization: Docker, docker-compose
- Experience managing and troubleshooting production Kubernetes clusters, writing Helm charts
- Experience supporting and developing PostgreSQL clusters, understanding of high availability, backups, and replication principles
