[Remote] ML/AI Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Stott and May is seeking a Machine Learning / AI Engineer to work on retail-focused machine learning initiatives using Databricks. The role involves building, deploying, productionizing, and monitoring ML models and end-to-end pipelines, while supporting forecasting, customer analytics, conversational AI, and GenAI/LLM use cases.
Responsibilities
- Build, train, and deploy ML models within Databricks
- Develop end-to-end ML pipelines for training, inference, and monitoring
- Work across demand forecasting, customer analytics, and conversational AI
- Work with large structured and unstructured datasets
- Use Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark and MLflow
- Productionize and monitor models using MLflow / Databricks
- Support GenAI/LLM and NLP use cases where applicable
- Partner with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams
Skills
- Strong Databricks experience
- Strong Python + SQL
- Spark / PySpark
- MLflow and model lifecycle experience
- Machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Experience deploying ML models into production
- Experience with forecasting, NLP/LLMs or conversational AI is a plus
- Retail/e-commerce experience is a plus
