[Remote] Network Administrator

The Network Administrator manages and maintains network infrastructure, with a focus on Palo Alto firewalls, security rule conversions, infrastructure upgrades, patches, configurations, and network performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- A Network Administrator Engineer manages and maintains an organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and reliability
- Expertise in networking protocols and devices
- Proficiency in firewalls, routers, and VPNs
- Experience with network monitoring tools
Skills
- U.S. Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S
- Experienced in managing Palo Alto firewalls (5+ years)
- Knowledgeable in conversation of layer 4 rules to layer 7 using userID and appID
- Understanding of creating custom appID's
- Has managed Palo Alto infrastructure (upgrades, patches, configurations)
- A Network Administrator Engineer manages and maintains an organization's network infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and reliability
- Expertise in networking protocols and devices
- Proficiency in firewalls, routers, and VPNs
- Experience with network monitoring tools
- Preferred – Experienced in managing Checkpoint firewalls in an IaaS environment
- Preferred – Deployed Palo Alto firewalls in an IaaS environment
- Preferred – Ability to leverage python scripts to automate tasks
