[Remote] Network Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sentinel Technologies is an IT services and solutions provider offering technology solutions across security, communications, systems and networks, software applications, cloud, and managed services. The Network Engineer will support and optimize complex enterprise network infrastructures, troubleshoot production network issues, engage with customers, and mentor junior engineers in a remote role with occasional on-site support.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in supporting and optimizing complex network infrastructures
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
Skills
- CCNP certification or equivalent hands-on expertise is required
- Must have experience in network engineering/support within enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and F5 load balancers
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in production environments
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
