[Remote] New Movies Journalist

ScreenRant is an entertainment website publishing breaking news and exclusives across movies, television, comic books, and other entertainment. The New Movies Journalist will write timely, high-quality news articles about current and new movies, develop original content ideas, and communicate with the Editorial Team.
Responsibilities
- Write news articles in ScreenRant’s house style following the training and peer mentorship period
- Cover current/new movies
- Brainstorm, pitch, and develop original content ideas
- Communicate actively with the Editorial Team
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, English Literature, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience working with a credible digital publication
- A broad working knowledge of the sector you're applying for
- A quick learner with a strong sense of urgency and drive
- An excellent writer in the English language free of grammatical and spelling errors
- The ability to write high quality articles with fast turnaround times
