[Remote] Operations Generalist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Storyteller is a high-growth B2B SaaS platform that helps companies integrate Stories into their owned and operated platforms through native SDKs, publishing tools, analytics, and ad support. The Operations Generalist will own broad operational problems across hiring, product operations, client support, AI model evaluation, infrastructure, and cost management, with responsibilities varying by level.
Responsibilities
- Hiring.Running recruitment end to end: innovating, using the latest technology, moving quickly, and not letting strong candidates go cold
- Product operations. Getting our software set up and running across clients efficiently and effectively, standing up proof-of-concepts on request, and being the person who actually understands how it works when something breaks
- Front-line client work.Getting on calls with the people using our products, interrogating how they're actually using it, digging into what's landing and what isn't, and handling support directly rather than routing it onward
- Models and the AI stack. We’re AI first and new models land constantly. Running evals, deciding whether we adopt or switch, and keeping us on the right tooling rather than the default
- Infrastructure and cost. SaaS, AI, and cloud billing - owning what we spend, finding the waste, and cutting it. We treat every line item as negotiable
Skills
- You're a doer who moves things
- You're comfortable owning ambiguity and you'd rather ship something rough and improve it than write a plan about shipping it later
- You can talk to a developer, read a billing dashboard, run an eval, and take a client call in the same week - and you're already using AI to move faster
- You might have built or run something of your own - a startup, a small business, a product, a team - or worked somewhere fast/high growth where the scope was undefined and you liked it that way
Benefits
- Fully remote working anywhere in Egypt
- Working with the latest hardware, tech stack, AI tools, and product workflows
- A compensated exercise to test skills relevant to the role(s)
