[Remote] Oracle Functional Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AlignEdge Advisory Services helps finance leaders transform their organizations by optimizing Oracle Cloud ERP and automating core finance processes. The Oracle Functional Analyst will design, configure, and optimize Oracle Cloud ERP modules, analyze business requirements, improve finance and operational processes, conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, provide production support, and support client training and knowledge transfer.
Responsibilities
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements, mapping them to Oracle functionality, and documenting process flows and functional specifications
- Collaborating with finance and operations stakeholders to improve end-to-end processes such as procure-to-pay and expense management
- Performing system testing, and supporting user acceptance testing
- Troubleshoot functional issues, provide ongoing production support, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best-practice process documentation
- This role also supports training and knowledge transfer to client teams to ensure successful adoption and long-term value from Oracle Cloud ERP
Skills
- Strong analytical skills and business analysis capabilities to interpret requirements, identify gaps, and propose Oracle-based solutions
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP functional areas, including order management and related business processes
- Knowledge of procure-to-pay cycles and ability to design and optimize end-to-end finance and procurement workflows
- Understanding of broader business process design, documentation, and improvement methodologies
- Experience working with finance and operations stakeholders in a consulting or internal functional analyst capacity
- Familiarity with system configuration, testing, issue resolution, and user support within Oracle Cloud ERP
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and functional concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience in finance transformation, process automation, or ERP implementation projects is highly beneficial
- Relevant Oracle Cloud certifications
