[Remote] OSP Project Manager

The company is a growing telecommunications engineering firm specializing in fiber engineering, OSP design, fielding, permitting, and construction documentation. The OSP Project Manager will manage telecom projects from initiation through closeout, coordinating engineering, field, customer, and stakeholder activities while ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality expectations.
Responsibilities
- Manage telecom/OSP projects from kickoff through completion
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate engineering, fielding, design, and other project activities
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and critical-path activities
- Monitor project progress against schedule and budget
- Identify and manage scope changes and potential scope creep
- Ensure project deliverables meet customer and quality requirements
- Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates
- Act as a key point of contact for customers and stakeholders
- Coordinate across engineering, technical, and business teams
- Help improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies
Skills
- 5+ years of telecommunications project management experience
- Strong understanding of telecommunications networks, fiber, and/or OSP
- Experience managing projects involving engineering, design, construction, or network deployment
- Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively with engineers, field teams, customers, and senior stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
