[Remote] Outside Sales Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Image First Uniforms is hiring Outside Sales Executives to develop new business and manage customer relationships across the United States. The role owns the full sales cycle, from prospecting and presenting customized uniform solutions through closing, implementation, and ongoing account growth.
Responsibilities
- Actively prospect and develop new business through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, referrals, and industry events
- Leverage established professional relationships to identify and develop new sales opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
- Identify businesses that could benefit from transitioning from uniform rental to purchase-based programs
- Conduct customer discovery meetings, develop proposals, and present customized solutions
- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through closing and implementation
- Maintain ownership of customer relationships and serve as their primary point of contact
- Grow existing accounts by identifying additional departments, locations, and product opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful program implementation and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline reporting, and forecasts
- Consistently achieve established new-business and account-growth objectives
- Travel as needed to meet customers and develop business
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in the uniform industry
- Proven track record of prospecting, developing, and closing new business
- Experience selling uniform rental programs, direct-purchase uniforms, workwear, or related apparel solutions
- Demonstrated ability to build and grow a portfolio of customer accounts
- Strong cold-calling, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to independently identify opportunities and manage the complete sales cycle
- Strong understanding of uniform programs, customer needs, and the competitive landscape
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable working independently
- Established professional network within the uniform, workwear, or related industries
- Existing relationships with decision-makers in industries that regularly purchase uniforms
- Experience selling to multi-location businesses or national accounts
- Familiarity with uniform rental contracts and purchase-versus-rental comparisons
- Experience selling FR clothing, PPE, safety apparel, footwear, or corporate apparel
- Proven history of growing accounts through additional products, locations, and services
