[Remote] Payment Operations Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. HyperTrack validates time and attendance for staffing platforms and uses Closeout Copilot agents to reconcile shift records. The Payment Operations Manager will own shift closeouts, resolve pay disputes, define and audit operational rules for AI agents, adjust client billing, and track performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Shift closeout end to end: worker-reported hours vs. facility records vs. location data — resolve the conflicts, get to a number everyone can live with
- Pay-dispute resolution: intake, evidence, decision, escalation — and the clock on all of it
- The rulebook: escalation tiers, refund authority, which source wins when records disagree. Our AI agents follow it; you write and audit it
- Billing and invoicing adjustments with clients when hours change after the fact
- The metrics that matter: time-to-close, dispute rate, adjustment leakage
Skills
- 3+ years in payroll, billing, or payment operations at a staffing platform, gig marketplace, healthcare staffing agency, or workforce-management company
- You've personally closed timesheet disputes between workers and facilities — and have opinions about what a fair, fast process looks like
- Fluent in the tools of the trade (ADP, Gusto, Bullhorn, QuickBooks, or a VMS like Fieldglass or Stafferlink — and the messy spreadsheets between them)
