[Remote] Platform Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Integrated Resources, Inc. is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to independently own and operate AWS/EKS infrastructure in production. The role focuses on Kubernetes platform management, Terraform and GitOps automation, production troubleshooting, security, reliability, scalability, and deployment efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage AWS/EKS infrastructure end-to-end in production environments
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, workloads, deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using Argo CD or Flux
- Build and manage Helm charts and Kubernetes deployment processes
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and conduct Root Cause Analysis
- Improve infrastructure reliability, security, scalability, and operational efficiency
- Implement AWS security best practices across IAM, networking, and infrastructure
- Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve deployment processes
- Partner with development and engineering teams to establish reliable and scalable platform solutions
Skills
- • AWS: EKS, EC2, S3, ECR, IAM, Route 53, VPC
- • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes / Amazon EKS platform operations
- • Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- • Helm and Kubernetes application deployments
- • Argo CD or Flux for GitOps
- • Strong experience with production troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- • Strong understanding of AWS Security and IAM
- • Experience managing production-grade cloud infrastructure independently
- • Ability to improve platform reliability, security, scalability, and deployment velocity
- The ideal candidate is a senior, hands-on engineer who can independently take ownership of AWS/EKS platforms rather than simply supporting them. Strong production experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, GitOps, security, automation, and troubleshooting is essential
