[Remote] Platform Engineer II
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Aflac is seeking a Platform Engineer II to support its Digital Services division. The role focuses on platform customization, workflow automation, integrations with external systems and APIs, performance tuning, security, deployment, and maintenance of platform applications.
Responsibilities
- Monitors performance, resolves problems, & manages component capacity issues
- Design, test, develop, configure, & maintain integrations to platform’s applications
- Adhere to the platform’s security and coding standards for resilience, data, and security
- Review business requirements to deploy the best solution, including configuring, coding, & debugging
- Work closely with cross-functional departments to communicate statuses & technical proposals
- Deploy and configure platform applications tailored to company needs
- Design technical solutions, configure/customize, test, maintain the platform applications to meet company requirements
- Performs other duties as required
Skills
- • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
- • 2+ years of experience in release practices and environments or other related experience
- •Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- • Salesforce system administration Certification
- • Claims Operations Experience
