[Remote] Platform Engineer, Infrastructure
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Wispr Flow is building the first voice interface that aims to be used by a billion people every day. They are seeking a Platform Engineer to architect and enhance their platform, addressing production challenges and improving developer experience.
Responsibilities
- Architect and own whole parts of the platform end to end
- Take the gnarly production problems nobody else has picked up
- Make every product engineer faster — dev experience, deploy speed, abstractions
- Build the agentic workflows that speed up you and your team
Skills
- Experience in architecting and owning whole parts of a platform end to end
- Ability to take on complex production problems
- Experience in improving developer experience, deploy speed, and abstractions
- Ability to build workflows that enhance team productivity
- Experience in rewriting services to address technical debt
- Experience in troubleshooting production issues and learning from them
- Ability to ship code quickly while ensuring rigorous testing
- Excitement about solving complex problems with constraints and edge cases
- Care for user journey alongside technical requirements
- Proficiency in Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, Temporal/SQS, Terraform, AWS
