[Remote] Power BI Analyst/Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LindFast Solutions Group is seeking a Power BI Developer to create and maintain business intelligence solutions that transform data into actionable insights. The role focuses on developing dashboards and reports, optimizing data models and transformations, ensuring data accuracy and security, and supporting business decision-making through analytics.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Power BI solutions
- Build and optimize data models and DAX calculations for performance, usability, and scalability
- Develop Power Query (M) transformations to clean, shape, and integrate data from multiple sources
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reports and datasets
- Create drill-through capabilities, KPIs, and dynamic visualizations to deliver actionable insights
- Provide ad hoc analyses and self-service reporting tools for business teams
- Document dashboards, data sources, and report logic for transparency and maintainability
Skills
- 3–5 years of experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI
- Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling best practices
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and the ability to design intuitive, insightful dashboards
- Experience integrating SQL databases, APIs, and other data sources into Power BI
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and deliver measurable impact
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with large, complex datasets
