[Remote] Production Support Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nesco Resource is a staffing and recruitment company offering contract employment opportunities. The Production Support Software Engineer will service Autotime system tickets, develop fixes for business-critical issues, and provide on-call support, including verifying scheduled jobs run successfully.
Responsibilities
- Applicant will be be responsible for receiving and servicing tickets from the Autotime system and will be responsible for developing fixes. Most work will be done servicing tickets with some development as required for business-critical tickets
- The role will start with training on the system to get up to speed but will eventually require on-call flexibility to service business-critical tickets after hours and sometimes weekends
- The client currently has jobs that run at 6PM EST on Sunday and 2AM EST Monday morning and the candidate may be responsible for checking and verifying these jobs have run successfully; this responsibility will also be on a rotation once it has been established
Skills
- Must have previous experience with Autotime, Service Central, Springboot, Angular, Python, SQL, Openshit, and Control-M
