[Remote] Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Centric Software provides an AI-enabled product-concept-to-commercialization platform for retailers, brands, and manufacturers. The Project Manager leads the end-to-end deployment of Centric PLM for assigned clients, overseeing planning, budgets, client relationships, risks, team coordination, and successful handoff to customer support.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation schedules, and communication strategies in accordance with the PMO standards
- Provide and regularly update an accurate resource allocation forecasts. Monitor project hours, resources, and expenses against the budget. Provide a weekly budget report
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the client project team, managing expectations, coordinating meetings, and facilitating all key project milestones (e.g., Blueprinting, configuration, testing. training, go-live)
- Rigorously execute the project using Centric implementation methodology, ensuring all required internal documentation and phase gate approvals are completed and auditable
- Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues. Manage all scope change requests using the formal change control process, escalating potential budget or timeline threats to the Director as needed
- Coordinate activities between the client’s team, the internal technical consultants, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure smooth transitions between project phases
Skills
- 10 Years
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing complex, multi-phase enterprise software implementation projects
- Strong working knowledge of relevant project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project)
- Practical understanding of Centric PLM integration with typical client business processes and IT environments
- Proven ability to run effective project steering committee meetings and clearly articulate complex technical and business issues to both client and internal stakeholders
- A Formal training or certification in a recognized project management methodology (e.g., PMP, CAPM, or Scrum Master) is preferred
