[Remote] Project Manager - Payroll & HRIS
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CV Resources is partnering with a global industry leader to hire a Project Manager - Payroll & HRIS. The role leads payroll systems projects, cross-functional technology initiatives, process improvements, system implementations, integrations, reporting, and compliance activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead payroll systems projects, enhancements, and process improvement initiatives
- Partner with Payroll, HR, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to optimize payroll technology
- Support system configuration, testing, implementations, and ongoing enhancements
- Analyze complex payroll system issues and develop scalable solutions
- Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
- Support integrations, reporting, data integrity, and system performance
- Ensure payroll systems remain compliant with internal controls and regulatory requirements
Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Payroll Systems, HRIS, Payroll Operations, or a related field
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Understanding of payroll processing, compliance, and multi-state payroll environments
- Experience with system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience supporting enterprise payroll platforms (ADP Vantage experience is highly preferred)
- Experience working in SOX-controlled or highly regulated environments is a plus
