Remote Provider Credentialing Specialist (Temporary Contract) We are partnering with a provider-led healthcare organization specializing in value-based primary care and health insurance for senior living and skilled nursing residents to hire a Provider Credentialing Specialist. This role is open due to seasonal volume and offers an opportunity to make an immediate impact-apply today! Overview:
- 3-month contract assignment
- Fully remote
- M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST
- Pay: $22-26/hr (DOE)
- Start Date: September 28

Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle provider credentialing for a health plan network
- Review and process provider applications to ensure compliance with credentialing standards
- Maintain accurate provider records and documentation
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Utilize credentialing systems, SharePoint, and Excel to track and manage applications
- Support risk mitigation and member safety through proper credentialing practices
- Meet production expectations of 250 provider applications per month
Requirements:
- 3+ years of provider credentialing experience
- Must have experience working with or for a health plan
- Experience using SharePoint
- Proficient in Excel and credentialing software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production goals
