Avel eCare is a leader in virtual healthcare innovation, offering Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) the opportunity to provide high-acuity behavioral health care remotely.Join a mission-driven team that supports EDs, inpatient units, and crisis stabilization environmentswhile working from the comfort of home.Position Highlights :100% Remote role -must hold an active CA or NV or TX NP licenseWork collaboratively with psychiatrists, RNs, MSWs, and support specialistsProvide acute assessments and treatment in emergency and inpatient settingsConsistent full-time hours :3 shifts per weekCompetitive salaried compensationFlexible scheduling with weekend / holiday rotationKey Responsibilities :Assess and treat patients in EDs, inpatient units, and crisis stabilization facilitiesEvaluate for suicide and violence risk; determine level of careInitiate direct admit orders and collaborate with accepting facilitiesAssist with rounding, care coordination, and crisis response planningSupport staff education and ensure compliance with safety standardsTrack performance metrics and contribute to quality improvement effortsCollaborate with health professionals to promote coordinated patient careRequirements :Education & Experience :Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing programCompletion of an accredited PMHNP program (Masters or Doctorate required)Licensure & Certification :Active CA or NV or TX Nurse Practitioner license requiredFederal and State DEA certification requiredAPRN licensure in additional states (where Avel eCare provides inpatient services) required within 9 months of hireMust complete state-specific certification / education requirements as applicable. Experience: 3 years required
