[Remote] Python/JavaScript Full Stack Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AVB Inc. is seeking a talented Python/JavaScript Full Stack Developer to support its evolving client technology needs. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing scalable full-stack solutions, enhancing an existing open-source product, and collaborating with product owners, QA engineers, and distributed development teams.
Responsibilities
- Working with a team of US and off-shore developers to add enhancements to an existing open-source product
- Work with JavaScript on the front-end, Python on the backend, and a Postgres database
- Work with the Product Owners and QA engineers to solidify requirements before starting to code
- Code-review others code

Skills
- • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- • Strong background in JavaScript, Python, HTML and CSS skills
- • Comfortable with SQL
- • Knowledge of optimized web server configurations and experience scaling web applications
- • Willingness to learn and great communication skills
- • Ability to work independently as well as with an offshore team
- • 2 years of experience working with Python and JavaScript
- • Prolonged period of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
