[Remote] QA Analyst - UI & Data Validation (Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kforce Inc is seeking a QA Analyst to join a Reporting & Analytics team that supports critical business operations. The role focuses on end-to-end testing of reporting solutions, dashboard functionality, and data accuracy through UI testing, SQL-based validation, test documentation, defect tracking, and collaboration with technical and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing of reporting and analytics solutions, dashboards, and data-driven applications
- Validate data accuracy between source systems, data warehouses, and reporting platforms
- Execute UI testing to ensure dashboards, reports, filters, calculations, and visualizations function as expected
- Investigate and troubleshoot data discrepancies, identifying root causes and working with Data Engineers and Developers to resolve issues
- Develop, document, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Collaborate with Report Developers and Product Teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
- Track defects, enhancements, and testing activities within Jira
- Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing as required
- Support multiple reporting products while maintaining quality standards and release timelines
Skills
- 2-5 years of Quality Assurance experience supporting reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or data-focused applications
- Experience performing both UI testing and backend data validation
- Strong SQL skills for querying, validating, and reconciling data
- Experience writing detailed test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation
- Understanding of data warehouse concepts and data flow validation
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience using Jira or similar work management tools
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify data quality issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience testing Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions
- Experience with Power BI reporting environments
- Exposure to healthcare data, payer systems, EPIC, EZ-CAP, or related healthcare platforms
- Experience testing banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, and reporting architectures
- Tableau (Preferred)
- Power BI (Nice to Have)
