[Remote] Rata Data Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Agility Partners is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join one of our financial services clients on a high-visibility regulatory technology transformation initiative. This role will play a key part in migrating data from a legacy RATA platform to a modern, cloud-based CRA Wiz environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop data migration solutions to move information from legacy regulatory reporting platforms into modern cloud-based systems
- Build, enhance, and maintain ETL and data integration processes that support data conversion activities
- Perform data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and integrity throughout the migration
- Partner with business stakeholders, compliance teams, and technology partners to deliver successful migration outcomes
- Identify and resolve data quality issues while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support testing, data validation, and post-migration activities
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong SQL and data warehousing expertise
- Experience designing and building ETL or data integration solutions
- Proven track record supporting data migration, platform conversion, or modernization initiatives
- Strong data validation, reconciliation, and data quality management skills
- Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated industries
- Experience with CRA, RATA, or CRA Wiz is required
