[Remote] Remote - Cybersecurity Program / Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amtex Systems Inc is seeking a Cybersecurity Program / Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, governance, and scaling of broad information security initiatives. The role involves leading enterprise-scale cybersecurity programs, managing security risk and compliance activities, coordinating remediation workflows, and communicating technical risks to executive stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Directly leading enterprise-scale cybersecurity initiatives or security governance
- Strong working knowledge of global security and privacy frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA
- A solid grasp of identity and access management (IAM), cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), vulnerability management, and incident response frameworks
- Experience handling security audits, managing risk registers, and driving remediation workflows across business units
- Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall delivery models
- Familiarity with enterprise project tools like Jira, Asana, or Trello, alongside GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) software like RSA Archer
- Exceptional executive communication skills. You must be able to translate complex technical vulnerabilities into clear business risks for C-level executives
Skills
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field
- Directly leading enterprise-scale cybersecurity initiatives or security governance
- Framework Familiarity: Strong working knowledge of global security and privacy frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and HIPAA
- Security Domain Knowledge: A solid grasp of identity and access management (IAM), cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), vulnerability management, and incident response frameworks
- Risk & Compliance: Experience handling security audits, managing risk registers, and driving remediation workflows across business units
- Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall delivery models
