[Remote] Remote Operations Manager

The Remote Operations Manager will oversee operational processes, manage resources and budgets, support a remote team, monitor performance, and ensure efficient, compliant project delivery and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operational functions to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effective management of resources
• Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies and procedures to support the company’s strategic goals
• Collaborate with project management, technical, and sales teams to ensure the successful delivery of customised solutions to our clients
• Monitor operational performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare detailed reports for senior management
• Lead and support a remote team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
• Manage resource allocation and operational budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within financial guidelines
• Identify and address operational issues promptly, implementing robust solutions to prevent recurrence
• Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way and that they comply with legal regulations and company policies

Skills

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager role or a similar senior position, preferably within the IT or telecommunications industry
• Strong understanding of operational management principles, process optimisation, and quality assurance
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage and motivate a remote team
• Demonstrable experience in project management and a track record of successful project delivery
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for liaising effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
• Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics, with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is highly desirable
