[Remote] Remote Security Systems Designer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Insight Global is hiring a Project Designer to support Convergint's financial vertical. The role involves reviewing project requirements, preparing estimates, coordinating security system designs with regional engineering teams, and ensuring design packages meet internal and client standards.
Responsibilities
- Support Convergint's Financial Vertical
- Review project requirements and scope
- Provide estimates and pricing support
- Attend customer meetings
- Coordinate designs with regional engineering teams
- Perform QA/QC on design packages
- Ensure compliance with internal and client standards
- Act more as a design lead/coordinator than a hands-on drafter
Skills
- 3+ years AutoCAD experience
- 5+ years security design/engineering experience
- Experience leading and coordinating security system designs
- Familiarity with security industry design standards
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to collaborate with multiple remote teams
- Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong teamwork and coordination skills
- BIM experience (nice-to-have, not required)
