[Remote] (Remote) Senior Java Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rider Solution is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a remote, long-term contract role. The position focuses on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based applications, scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices while supporting troubleshooting, deployments, and production environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs
- Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, architects, and business stakeholders
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code
- Troubleshoot application issues and improve system performance
- Participate in code reviews and development best practices
- Work with databases, APIs, and enterprise application frameworks
- Support application deployments and production environments
Skills
- 7+ years of professional experience as a Senior Java Developer or in a senior-level Java development role
- Strong experience with Java and object-oriented programming
- Experience with Spring and Spring Boot
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices
- Strong SQL and relational database experience
- Experience with Git and source control
- Experience with Maven or Gradle
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Must currently reside in the United States
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be eligible to work as a W-2 employee
