[Remote] Reporting Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Liberian Energy Network is seeking a Reporting Analyst to support business-intelligence reporting and analytical operations. The role focuses on building datasets, reports, and dashboards; using SQL to transform source data; validating calculations and refreshes; maintaining metric definitions; and translating stakeholder questions into clearly defined measures.
Responsibilities
- Build and support business-intelligence datasets, reports, or dashboards for recurring analysis
- Use SQL and reporting tools to transform approved source data into consistent analytical views
- Test calculations and refresh results to catch missing records, broken logic, or unexpected changes
- Trace conflicting report values back to source data and documented business rules
- Keep semantic definitions, source notes, and dashboard logic current as requirements change
- Translate stakeholder questions into clearly defined measures rather than relying on ambiguous assumptions
Skills
- Practical familiarity with Reporting, SQL, and Excel
- Consistent accuracy when working with Dashboards and Business Intelligence
- Clear written communication and disciplined documentation habits
- Ability to manage assigned work, deadlines, and follow-up without making unsupported assumptions
