[Remote] Sales Estimator

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. DECTX Inc. is hiring a Sales Estimator to assess project scope and prepare written estimates for construction cleanup, debris haul-off, and deconstruction services. The role also involves client communication, business development, bid tracking, and coordination with operations to support successful service delivery.

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for responding to inquiries from builders and general contractors, visiting job sites to assess project scope, and preparing accurate written estimates for construction cleanup, debris haul-off, and deconstruction services
• The Sales Estimator will maintain regular communication with clients, follow up on quotes, and collaborate with operations to ensure scheduled work aligns with customer expectations and site requirements
• Day-to-day tasks include prospecting new business opportunities, tracking active bids, updating CRM or sales records, and supporting the team with project details needed for successful service delivery

• Candidates should possess strong Sales and Business Development skills to identify opportunities, build relationships, and close service agreements
• Candidates should possess solid Project Estimation and Customer Service skills to create accurate quotes and deliver a positive client experience
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written abilities for interacting with clients and internal teams
• Ability to read project scopes or construction plans and translate them into service requirements and cost estimates
• Strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and organizational skills for managing multiple bids and deadlines
• Comfort working on active construction sites and conducting in-person site visits in varying weather and field conditions
• Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM tools) and willingness to learn company-specific systems
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in construction, facilities services, or related industries is preferred
• Additional education in construction management, business, or a related field is a plus
