[Remote] Salesforce Developer III

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ExtraHop is a cybersecurity company focused on providing visibility into cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and network performance issues across connected enterprises. The Salesforce Developer III will design, develop, test, deploy, and optimize customized Salesforce solutions, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing technical leadership for integrations, code quality, and platform best practices.

Responsibilities

• Salesforce Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions, including Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning web components, and integrations
• Technical Leadership: Act as a technical expert, guiding best practices, code standards, and design decisions
• Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions
• Customization and Configuration: Implement Salesforce customizations using declarative tools (Flows) and programmatic solutions
• Integrations: Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware, or other tools
• Code Review & Best Practices: Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices and company standards
• Performance Optimization: Identify areas of improvement within the Salesforce instance and recommend optimizations to enhance system performance
• Testing and Deployment: Develop and execute unit tests, perform debugging, and support deployment through CI/CD pipelines
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for solutions, integrations, and system processes
• Collaboration: Work closely with business and technical teams to understand priorities and deliver timely solutions
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, new tools, and industry trends to provide innovative solutions

Skills

• * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• * 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with expertise in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components
• * Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ
• * Have done a Salesforce CPQ implementation
• * Experience with integrating Partner Community with Quoting
• * Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using RESTful and SOAP APIs
• * Solid understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits, best practices, and optimization techniques
• * Proficiency with Salesforce deployment tools (e.g., SFDX, Change Sets, CI/CD pipelines)
• * Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (required)
• * Proficiency in source control systems (e.g., Git)
• * Advanced programming skills in Apex, SOQL, and JavaScript
• * Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• * Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• * Ability to design scalable and efficient solutions
• * Work cooperatively with others within the organization and other cross-functional stakeholders
• * Work well in fast-paced, high-stress environments
• * Has predictable, reliable attendance
• * Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
• * Experience with MuleSoft, Heroku, or other middleware tools
• * Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• * Familiarity with enterprise architecture and data management best practices
• * Experience in delivering Salesforce solutions in large enterprise environments
