[Remote] SAP Backend/API Developer

NeerInfo Solutions is seeking an experienced SAP Backend/API Developer to build and maintain backend systems and APIs supporting SAP S/4 HANA Rise with SAP PCA. The role involves translating requirements into technical solutions, ensuring API performance, troubleshooting applications, mentoring junior developers, documenting processes, and participating in Agile development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs that support SAP S/4 HANA Rise with SAP PCA
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Implement best practices for API development, ensuring high performance and responsiveness
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and APIs
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend development and SAP solutions
- Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives
Skills
- • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- • 10 - 15 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on SAP technologies
- • Proven experience in developing and integrating APIs within SAP environments
- • Strong portfolio of previous projects demonstrating backend development expertise
- • Strong expertise in SAP S/4 HANA Rise with SAP PCA
- • Proficient in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- • Experience with RESTful API design and development
- • Solid understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
- • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
- • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- • Experience with microservices architecture
- • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- • Understanding of security best practices in API development
- • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
