[Remote] Security Deployment Engineer

Evolution Cloud Services (EVOCS) is an IT consulting firm that delivers technology solutions to help businesses improve performance and achieve their objectives. The Security Deployment Engineer will lead the deployment, configuration, integration, testing, and global rollout of cybersecurity technologies, while documenting implementations and supporting knowledge transfer to client teams.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure cybersecurity technologies
- Support global rollouts
- Integrate tools with enterprise systems
- Develop implementation runbooks
- Support testing and validation activities
- Assist with operationalization and knowledge transfer
Skills
- 5+ years' experience deploying and configuring enterprise security technologies
- Experience with SIEM; SOAR; DLP; EDR; Exposure Management; IAM; PAM; Cloud Security Platforms
- A passion for helping global teams adopt new security technologies smoothly
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent deployments across different regions and time zones
- An undying concern about getting every deployment right the first time, at scale
- A willingness to travel or work flexible hours to support global rollouts when needed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills -- this is a client-facing role that involves frequent interaction via email, calls, and meetings
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- Ability to lead knowledge-transfer sessions for client operations teams
